Chill Your Cheeks is a local run that offers a 5k and the 1k Jingle Walk. It kicks off the Opening Night of Christmas in the Park. Runners and walkers get the opportunity to race around the Christmas lights.

Information on the 5k
The 5k begins at 5:00 PM. The course starts in Chisholm Trail Park, traverses through surrounding neighborhoods, and finishes in the park. The race draws over 500 runners from across Oklahoma. For safety reasons, runners who cannot complete the course within 60 minutes are encouraged to participate in the 1k Jingle Walk. The 5k course closes at 6:00 p.m. due to the opening of the drive-through portion of the Christmas lights display.
The Chill Your Cheeks 5k breaks down its official timing and results tracking by two gender divisions and standard five-year age brackets. The age categories as are follows: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, and 80-99. The first, second, and third place finishers will receive a prize.
Registration is required for the 5k. The last day to register and be guaranteed a race t-shirt is November 1, 2026. If you register after that day, you are not guaranteed to receive a race t-shirt at packet pick-up. Information on packet pick-up can be found on your receipt at checkout.

5k Packet Pick Up
Participants may pick up their race packet and bib at the following dates, times, and locations:
Yukon Community Center (2200 S. Holly Ave.)
- November 17-19: 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
- November 20: 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Chisholm Trail Park (500 W. Vandament Ave.)
- November 21: 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Please remember to bring a valid photo ID or receipt of purchase when picking up your packet. We encourage participants to pick up their materials in advance to help make race day smooth and enjoyable.
Information on the 1k Jingle Walk
The 1k course starts and ends on the sidewalk that meanders through the heart of Chisholm Trail Park. There is no cost to participate. Registration is not required, but it is highly encouraged!
Where Do I Park?
Parking will be located all around the event area. Handicap parking will be located in the Oklahoma Parking Lot. The Oklahoma Parking Lot will open once the 5k course clears, around 6:15 p.m.
We are providing a FREE bus shuttle service from the Yukon Middle School to the event. First bus leaves at 4:00 p.m. and last bus drops off at 10:00 p.m. Buses should arrive and drop off every 15 minutes or so. Wait times will vary as the traffic gets heavier in the evening.
